Pitch

Re-tuning, re-voicing, harmonising.

Two nodes for shifting the pitch of a buffer without changing its length. Pitch Shift handles single-voice transposition with semitone and cents control, useful when you’ve sampled something a fifth too low or want to detune a layer. Harmonizer stacks 2–4 pitch-shifted voices on top of the source, each at independent intervals — the equivalent of running a sampler key through a hardware harmoniser to build a chord from one note. Both nodes use phase-vocoder shifting, which preserves duration but introduces a characteristic warble on extreme settings; for cleaner pitch shifts on tonal material, pair them with the extractors to isolate the harmonic content first.

Nodes

  • Pitch Shift — Phase vocoder pitch shifting - high quality, +-24 semitones
  • Harmonizer — Multi-voice harmony generation - 2-4 voices with interval control
