k2k Editor

Graph-based spectral sample prep — load a buffer, route it through nodes that extract, filter, fold, blend, and recombine.

The Editor is where you prep a sound. Load a buffer, build a graph of nodes around it, audition each step on the scopes, and export the result to the Player.

If you’ve used a sampler — MPC, SP-1200, Octatrack, OP-1 — you already know the shape: capture, manipulate, save. The Editor extends that with a non-linear node graph (every operation is an inspectable buffer) and four scopes with twelve color modes (look at what’s inside the sound before you process it).

Sections

  • Quickstart — one-page getting-started: load a buffer, wire nodes, audition with Eye/Gear, and reverse-engineer the demo graph.
  • Reference — scopes, color modes, modulation system, and the rest of the Editor’s surfaces.
  • Nodes — every registered node, by category. Reference for parameters, ranges, and how each piece behaves.
  • Tutorials — focused walkthroughs (coming).
