Filter

Sculpting the spectrum.

Six filters covering classic biquad work, parametric EQ, resonator-style colouration, and adaptive frequency tracking. Multimode Filter is the all-rounder: Butterworth, Moog ladder, TB-303, diode ladder, and ZDF topologies in one node, with lowpass, highpass, bandpass, and band-reject modes — the filter you reach for when you want a specific character. Parametric EQ is the surgical one: 4 bands, two shelves and two sweepable mids, for additive and subtractive shaping. Comb Resonator produces metallic, robotic tones via resonant comb filtering with string-like and waveguide modes. Envelope Resonator adds resonant peaks that respond to input dynamics — set the envelope depth to zero and it becomes a static resonance modeller. Adaptive Notch tracks moving frequencies (hum, feedback, wandering resonances) and removes them in real time. Monophonic Noise Filter uses pitch detection to extract or isolate the inharmonic content from a single-voice source. Reach for whichever one matches the shape of the cut or boost you’re after.

Nodes

  • Multimode Filter — All classic filter algorithms in one node - Butterworth, Moog, 303, Diode, ZDF
  • Comb Resonator — Resonant comb filtering - metallic/robotic tones, Karplus-Strong (comb/streson/wguide1)
  • Parametric EQ — 4-band parametric EQ with low/high shelves and two parametric bands (pareq)
  • Envelope Resonator — Dynamic resonances driven by input envelope - auto-wah, breathing effects
  • Monophonic Noise Filter — Extract harmonic/noise from MONOPHONIC audio (vocals, solo instruments)
  • Adaptive Notch — Track and remove moving frequencies (hum, feedback, resonances)
