Delay

Echoes and rhythmic repeats.

Three nodes for sending a buffer back at itself with different geometries. Delay (Native) is the workhorse — stereo delay with feedback filtering and LFO modulation, the kind of thing you’d patch into a sampler’s send bus. Multi-Tap Delay exposes up to 8 independent taps, each with its own time, gain, and pan, for arpeggiated repeats and rhythmic patterns that aren’t just plain echoes. Matrix Delay is the spectral one: a 4-band × 4-tap routing matrix where different frequency regions can take different delay paths, useful for building complex evolving textures from a single input. Pair any of them with the dynamics or filter categories upstream if you want feedback that decays with character rather than just gain reduction.

Nodes

  • Multi-Tap Delay — Multi-tap delay with up to 8 independent taps (time/gain/pan per tap)
  • Matrix Delay — Multi-voice spectral delay matrix with frequency x time control surface
  • Delay (Native) — Native C++ stereo delay - with feedback filtering and modulation
